Cookie notice
Last updated: June 3, 2026
This notice explains how de:volt uses cookies, local storage, analytics tags, and similar technologies across the marketing site, simulator, docs, and de:volt Learn.
1. What we use
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage and similar technologies store preferences or state in your browser. de:volt uses these technologies to run the product, remember settings, keep users signed in, understand aggregate usage, process billing, and investigate errors.
2. Categories
- Strictly necessary: Supabase authentication cookies, session refresh, CSRF/security controls, cross-subdomain SSO, and routing needed to provide the service.
- Functional: editor preferences, telemetry preference, theme, keyboard settings, onboarding tour state, and temporary UI state.
- Analytics: Vercel Analytics and selected product events used to understand usage and improve the service. de:volt's own product telemetry in Supabase is controlled by the telemetry setting in the simulator.
- Error monitoring and security: Sentry and server logs used to detect, diagnose, and prevent failures, abuse, and security incidents.
- Billing and third-party flows: Stripe Checkout and the Stripe customer portal may set their own cookies or similar technologies when you manage payments or subscriptions.
3. Managing choices
You can control many cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, saved projects, billing redirects, or Learn sessions from working. You can turn de:volt product telemetry on or off in simulator settings.
Third-party services such as Stripe, Google, Vercel, Sentry, and Supabase may provide their own controls or notices. See the Privacy Policy for provider categories and contact details.
4. Future consent controls
If de:volt adds optional advertising, affiliate tracking, behavioural advertising, or other technologies that require additional consent, we will update this notice and add appropriate controls before relying on them.
